Yash Raj Film’s latest release ‘Gunday’ has rocked the Indian box office in its first day. Film has done superb business on Friday. It has collected Rs. 16.12 crore at box office in India.
It is the second highest opening day grosser of 2014, after Salman Khan starrer ‘Jai Ho’, which was collected Rs. 17.75 crore in its opening day.
Starring Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, Gunday registered a big occupancy of around 65% on average in whole India on Friday. Film has not register good occupancy in multiplexes only but also in single screens, it has done superb business.
Gunday had started good opening in its morning shows by registering 40% occupancy on average in all over India. But soon it picked up and registered occupancy of around 65% in noon shows. It again picked further and registered highest occupancy of around 85% in night shows on Friday.
Overall, film has started good opening with Rs. 16.12 crore in first day. Film is all set to rule the box office. Stay tuned for more updates.
